D.A.R.E. Fundraising Event – Drive One 4 D.A.R.E.
Saturday, May 25, 9:00am-5:00pm, at Allan Drive Middle School in Bolton
Take a Free Test-Drive and Ford of Canada will donate up to $6000 to D.A.R.E.
D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) is taught to Grade 6 students in Caledon schools. Over 10 weeks each year, students interact with a trained OPP D.A.R.E. officer to learn about the strategies, information and decision-making skills needed to help resist drug use and alcohol, and counteract bullying and peer pressure. So come out May 25 and help support this highly effective, socially relevant program.

SouthFields Farmers’ Market
Caledon newest farmers’ market will be open Thursdays from 3:30-7:30pm, and will run from July 4 to October 10. The market will be held in the school parking lot at 110 Learmont Ave (by Mayfield and Kennedy Rd). There are already 12 participating vendors (all local), and there is still room available for artists, crafters, and musicians. Caledon Meals on Wheels
Caledon Meals on Wheels (CMOW) is looking for an individual to service on their Board as Director. CMOW, which is a non-profit organization, provides meals, exercise programs, and other services for residents in Caledon and Orangeville.
