Belfountain 2nd Annual Garlic Mustard Pull & BBQ

Help stop the spread of the Garlic Mustard plant. Prizes will be awarded for the most plants pulled. The pull is followed by a free BBQ, music, games, and other activities, as well as the Garlic Mustard Cook-Off! This great idea was created by the students of the Belfountain Public School, so come out and show them your support and help stop this invasive plant!

The annual Ambassadors program is looking for entrees from Caledon youth who will compete to become both a Junior (12-16 yrs) and Senior (17-23 yrs) Ambassador for 1 year. Entrants will be evaluated on their current activities (sports, school, volunteer, special interests), and finalists will present a short speech to a judge’s panel before the winners are crowned. Ambassadors represent Caledon in a number of social events across the province of a 1 year time frame, beginning June 2013. Lafarge / Aecon 2nd Annual Caledon 5K Pit Run/Walk

Featuring a 5 km run and walk, guided equipment tours, bussed rehabilitation tour, silent auction, and team challenge. This year’s event will sponsor the Bethell Hospice and there will also be a food collection drive for the Hospice on the day of the race.
