It is a great honour to be invited to join the Bering Strait Swim Relay Team and also to have an opportunity to represent Ireland on this historic expedition. Although I have swam in the North Atlantic Ocean all my life I only started distance sea swimming in 2002. Over the past 11 years I have swam many stretches of water, made wonderful friendships and have had fantastic experiences. I look forward to joining this very special expedition team and also to the challenges that we will face and overcome together.
