As the school year begins, we’re reminded once again of the all-too-familiar tragedies on our highways. Just recently, another life was taken, and two people were seriously injured, leading to yet another highway closure.
These recurring incidents should serve as a wake-up call. As we send our children off to school, let’s not forget the importance of road safety. It’s on us to instill responsible driving habits in our youth and advocate for safer roads and stricter traffic enforcement.
Let’s pledge to drive cautiously, stay focused, and be considerate of others on the road. Our goal should be to make our highways safer, ensuring a secure journey for our children as they head back to school.
